Are your products vegan?
YES! Our products are formulated with 97% natural ingredients: coconut, orange, avocado, grapefruit... And others with more complicated names such as yellow cinchona, hops, Viscum Album leaf extract... And so on up to more than 45 natural ingredients and NONE of animal origin. The goal is to get products that do not damage your hair and respect both the planet and animals.
Do your products contain sulfates?
SUL-FA... What? At hair grant we believe in natural... In every way! We like natural people, we like to express ourselves naturally, we like to live life naturally, we like nature and, above all, we like natural ingredients. That's why all our products are made with formulas that contain more than 97% of natural ingredients and are free of sulfates, parabens, silicones, petrolatum... And so many other unmentionable toxic ingredients ;(
Do your products contain salts?
Our products do not contain salt. Salt in cosmetic products refers to Sodium Chloride or Sodium Chloride (common salt), which is a natural product, widely used and of low toxicity. Its use in high proportions can affect the amount of lather in soaps and shampoos, as well as slightly dry out the hair strand and cause frizziness. However, it should be noted that this ingredient is used in proportions higher than 50% in skin cleansing scrubs or bath salts.
Sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate cannot be considered within the category of common salt since they act in a non-ionized form in the form of acids. They have low toxicity and are the most widely used preservatives in the food industry and widely accepted in Natural Cosmetics. These products do not present any adverse effect in cosmetic products intended for hygiene and skin or hair care.
Do you test your products on animals?
NEVER. That's it. In fact, the doubt even offends, but let us explain it to you: we declare ourselves to be animal lovers. They (kittens, puppies, rabbits, monkeys... whatever comes to mind!) are our best friends, so you can be sure that we never test our formulas on animals and, of course, our formulas do not contain any ingredients of animal origin.
Is the packaging plastic?
Our parents used to tell us... Looks can be deceiving! Our packaging is 100% recyclable PET with biodegradable labels. We love our planet and we will do everything in our power to take care of it. For example, we give a second (third, fourth and fifth...) life to our packaging and we pack our products inside sustainable economy boxes (FSC). In short, EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING you will find inside the box we send you with your magic hair solution is recycled.
Can hair grant be used during pregnancy?
Of course it can! Our products are suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. We'll tell you even more: our products are recommended during this stage because you deserve moments of disconnection and relaxation for yourself. And what better time than a nice shower with natural scents? Just a thought ;)
The only line that you should NOT use during this stage is Fortify because it contains peppermint in its formulation, an oil that is contraindicated during pregnancy.
Are the products unisex, are they only for adults?
For you, for him, for her, for adults, for children... hair grant is for anyone who wants to take care of their hair with natural products! There is no gender, no age... here only the will to look PE-LA-ZO rules.
Do you only sell your products online?
Yes! Our products can only be purchased through our website: www.hairgrant.com. Why? Because we feel the project is very much our own. We produce on a small scale and we do everything in-house: from the search and choice of natural ingredients, to the production, design, packaging, picking... We even do the shipping to your home ourselves! No intermediaries! This allows us to be sure of the quality and effectiveness of our products.
Can I use your products after a keratin treatment?
OF COURSE! Many of you ask us this question, worried about the frizziness of your hair. If you have just had a keratin treatment, we recommend our Repair & Nutrition line formulated with avocado and soy. As these products are sulfate- and salt-free, they can be used to maintain keratin treatments to moisturize and nourish your hair for A-LU-CI-NAN-TES softness and shine. And you don't even have to worry about frizz!
Does the Curl Defining line follow the Curly method?
YES 😊 Our Curl Defining line follows the curly method because it is free of silicones, sulfates, parabens (etc, etc, etc, etc.) and respects curly hair to the maximum by providing definition, volume and natural shine.
Do you have a routine for oily hair?
Oily hair is the specialty of our Detox & Control line. The well-known Detox Plan is not only valid for diet... Hair can also practice it! If you want to purify and balance your scalp, we recommend daily use of the shampoo and conditioner in this line, formulated with grapefruit, burdock and 7 different types of natural herbs to regulate flaking.
Do you have a routine to add volume to your hair?
If you have fine hair that lacks volume, we recommend our Super Volume Shampoo! Its pea and wheat protein based formula has the ability to give your hair movement from the roots. Your hair will feel fuller and more bouncy.
Do you have a solution to combat hair loss?
Affirmative 😊 If you feel your hair has lost strength and falls out more easily, we recommend our Fortify shampoo and lotion tandem. Its daily use (especially the lotion that stays on the scalp for hours) will help you strengthen your hair and prevent hair loss.
